This website showcases the photographic archives of the Camette nursery, compiled by Alain Dumont, together with my own growing personal collection of images.

The "Mountain Flowers" collection focuses primarily on alpine and rock garden plants — those small, resilient species that thrive in harsh conditions and reward the patient gardener with extraordinary beauty. You will also find maritime plants and a selection of larger perennials.

Beyond the photographs, the site offers links to other collections, specialist floras and nurseries for those wishing to explore further.

Alain Dumont's eye for botanical detail was not limited to mountain plants. Between 2013 and 2018, he turned his camera to the countryside around Luzarches, a quiet town on the northern edge of the Île-de-France region, 30 km north of Paris. Its meadows, hedgerows and woodland margins shelter a surprisingly rich wild flora — 254 species documented through over 2600 photographs, offered here as a bonus to the main collection.
